Visitor Information

Held in Historic Abingdon and the surrounding area, the annual Virginia Highlands Festival offers juried fine art and crafts, antiques, performing and literary arts, music, local history, the great outdoors, home and garden events, and fun for kids of all ages!

FESTIVAL INFORMATION

Parking & Transportation

Free shuttles to Festival sites and to Abingdons Historic District from I-81 Exit 14 (Antiques Market) or Rose’s parking lot off I-81, Exit 19 (Wolf Hills Shopping Center). Ample parking available.

First Aid

The Johnston Memorial Hospital will provide a first aid station at the Antiques Market at VHCC Campus, and the Juried Arts and Crafts Show on Remsburg Drive.

Information & Souvenir Booth

Open daily 10 a.m. – 6 p.m. Arts and Crafts Booth 86. Information on the Festival, Abingdon and the surrounding area. Festival souvenirs include T-shirts, posters, postcards, and more. Lost & Found.

Tickets

Unless otherwise indicated, events are free. Tickets for events at Barter Theatre are available at the Barter Box Office: 276-628-3991. Tickets for other events are available at the performance or as indicated.

Events may be eligible. Teachers should get approval from school systems.
